That is where I found myself when I picked up a paint brush one fateful evening. Recovering from an avalanche of mental and physical health issues that I had tried to ignore for far too long. I started this painting with zero expectation or destinations in mind.
A wonderful part of the creation process is getting to slip into another world while you paint. For a brief moment in time, I was among the plants, the clouds, the lady bugs, and Mr. Toad.
This painting was a monumental step forward for me. It taught me that I can create my own peace, healing, and luck.
