I have kept every sketchbook and painting I have made over the years. Every now and again, I like to flip through them and admire the work of the young lady who was much too hard on herself. The self deprecating messages are memorialized in the margins.
Time is a funny thing. The drawings I used to be ashamed of are now my most precious treasures.
This painting is a recreation of artwork I did a few years ago. I am happy to say that I had a lot of fun while painting this one.
